It was a battle of pitchers in the Region 6-7A matchup between South Forsyth and Forsyth Central. On October 9th 2023, The South Forsyth Softball Team took down Forsyth Central Softball for the second time in the regular season. The starting pitcher for South Forsyth, Josie Crossman recorded multiple strikeouts. Starting Catcher, Meghan Lockhead and Starting 3rd baseman, Savannah Oquendo scored individual home runs that helped the Lady War Eagles win 9-4. The game was over by the fourth inning. Notable players like Aditi Shrikant and Maddie Stovoken played a significant role in helping the team win.
