Shruthi Manivannan, Staff Writer
Shruthi Manivannan is a freshman at South Forsyth High School. She is new to The Bird Feed and is very excited to begin. She enjoys sketching, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. One of her many favorite novels is a mystery-thriller called Pretend She’s Here by Luanne Rice. She treasures the windy autumn weather and loves the rare sight of snow. She also adores trying out new music, annoying her two siblings, and reading historical novels she never finishes. She is learning two languages: French and Tamil, the latter being her mother tongue. In her little free time, Shruthi loves to do creative writing, which she has been doing for about two years. She likes sketches of monochrome wildlife, but she’ll never be caught outside in spring. Her hobbies include playing the piano, doing classical dance, and learning badminton. She is very enthusiastic about writing, and she hopes to become a renowned journalist one day.
