Erin Kim is a freshman at South Forsyth High School. She has always been interested in writing and is very excited to join Journalism this year. Kim has many hobbies such as reading, writing, baking, taking photos of scenery and food, video editing transitions, and special effects. She wants to learn acoustic guitar and crochet. On a typical Saturday with no activities or homework, Kim is to be found scrolling through YouTube shorts about food from around the world or snuggled with a Gordon Korman book. Gordon Korman is her favorite author and therefore she has made it her goal to become a writer like him. Kim especially loves writing narratives; realistic fiction or real life. She constantly seeks opportunities to experiment with new food recipes and discover how certain foods go together. To express her enthusiasm in the culinary field, she would like to create an East Asian–mostly Korean–food blog consisting of her reviews on restaurants, and bakeries, and sharing some of her own recipes.
