The Southside Players’ recent play featured the story of Peter and the Starcatchers. This play was selected because of the persistent pleading of the cast.

“We’ve been working on this show since May of last year,” sophomore Sarah Gates said. She performed the role of Grempkin, the orphanage headmaster. “We originally had to cut the show down to 50 minutes for a GTC competition (Georgia Thespian Conference), and won first place. It’s been a blast to work on this show and with this cast, and it’s all coming together to look amazing!”

The play succeeded as a result of the teamwork and unity demonstrated by the cast and those working behind the scenes. The superb alignment of lights, sound, and acting made the performance an adventure worth watching.
