About the Contributors

Fiona Lin, Staff Writer
Currently a senior at South Forsyth High school, Fiona Lin has a passion to live life to the fullest. She loves Studio Ghibli, her digital camera, making and eating food, card games, any sport that involves a racket, and her cats. If she’s not responding to her texts, Fiona can be seen either singing her heart out during Kareoke, listening to true crime podcasts (rotten mango), or participating in retail therapy.

Caroline Wolff, Associate Editor
Caroline Wolff is a Junior at South Forsyth High School, and this is her first year writing and being a part of the Bird Feed Team. She is ecstatic about joining the SFHS journalism program, meeting and collaborating with other students, and creating new memories. Wolff is excited to explore and report on the many topics that circulate the media, from world controversies to regular school updates. She is especially excited to broaden her journalistic and writing skills, that she may apply in her life, and perhaps make a career out of it, as she plans to major in broadcast journalism in college. She is oftentimes found reading various novels from Jane Austen to Donna Tartt, and she also is very focused on her artwork and the visual arts community at South. Music and musical artists such as Lana Del Rey and Taylor Swift also play a large role in her life, as these artists are influential figures to her growth as a woman. Her newest quest is being a part of the founding team of the SFHS Women’s Student Association this year, and she is very grateful to have a position, and share her ideas for her passion of promoting feminism. She is also a part of other SFHS organizations and Honor Societies, which she encourages incoming and current students to join, so they may have the opportunity to work and get to know different people, and have a wonderful high school experience overall. Most of all she is simply happy to be a part of something such as journalism that allows her to collaborate with so many wonderful individuals, and meet new friends!

Chloe Huyer, Staff Writer
Chloe Huyer is a Junior at South Forsyth High School, starting her first year writing for The Bird Feed. She looks forward to improving her writing skills and expressing her passion for writing. She is very interested in writing about sports, something she enjoys in her free time. She also enjoys watching her favorite show Criminal Minds, hanging out with friends, baking, and going on long drives. You can usually find her listening to Lana Del Rey or songs from her favorite shows and movies if she’s not daydreaming about going to the beach. Her unrealistic dream school is Duke University but hopes to go to University of Georgia, even though she has no idea what she wants to major in. She hopes to meet many new people this year and have a great time writing about things she loves!
