The One Mores

Yiwen Zhang, Contributing Poet

do you think I can have one more kiss?
I’ll find closure on your lips and I’ll go

It’s the little moments that break my heart
When you hug me so tight, kiss me so slow

I’m trying to move on but the pain takes time to heal
one more kiss, one more show

It’s the one mores that hurts the most
If only all the one mores can add up to a life time

One more sunset, one more call
Hoping you would show up at my door

We’re still young, our future hold a thousand more
For you, for me. This is the best we can be for now

Maybe in the future, we’ll see
Hopefully, we’ll get the closure we used to seek
