As Suicide Awareness month returns to campus, the truth behind mental health is elaborated. Carlie Ferullo directs attention to the important matter and interprets it into a student film. With the personal connection to the issue, the film was based on an actual event.

“It’s important to bring awareness of what families go through during these difficult times concerning suicide attempts,” junior Carlie Ferullo said. “It’s not a one-way street, many are affected outside of the person.”

After six months of production, Ferullo hopes to inspire change, spark student recognition and demolish the existing stigma.
