On October 26th, South Forsyth High School celebrated their second annual Trunk or Treat, which was held by the Student Government Association. Clubs came to the bus lanes at school and decorated the trunks of their cars with different Halloween appropriate themes. Children began arriving at 5:30 with their parents, excited to visit the different displays and collect some candy. Trunk or Treat began as a way for children to go trick-or-treating in a safe environment. They wore costumes that included hot dogs, a Lego ninja, Black Panther, and a football player. Students and adults joined in on the fun by wearing costumes such as hamburgers, Spiderman, an ostrich rider, and Bob Ross. Children had the opportunity to play games and collect candy in each trunk. A mummy-wrapping game was played and chalk drawings were made at the end of the bus lane. The event ended at 7 o’clock with happy kids, and even happier parents.
